This year our OPERA design team went down to the Excel Centre to see Futurebuild 2023. With our team continuing to develop the office planning software OPERA we wanted to immerse ourselves in the digital section at Futurebuild to hear what industry leaders are doing to integrate new and innovative technologies into the architectural world.
Listening in on a number of talks regarding the integration of technology into the construction industry whilst also delving deeper and talking about the future of the digital world we were exposed to a world which is moving rapidly. The leadership set but gaming companies such as Epic Games is pulling the architectural world forward towards a digital twin/virtual reality of what the world could look like.
Nathalie Wickremeratne of GTA said it was "a great experience and a real eye opener towards where the future of architecture might go."
