Sao Nicolau Airport - Cape Verde - Gebler Tooth

Sao Nicolau Airport - Cape Verde

Design and deployment of a fully functioning terminal facility within six months of conception.

Gebler Tooth have developed a range of modular rapid deployment Airport Terminal buildings, with Losberger. The first of these to be deployed was constructed in Sao Nicolau, Cape Verde, for the CV government. A further four terminals on other Cape Verde islands are planned.

The building provides 1800 sq.m. of air conditioned terminal space, complete with baggage handling, security and passport control, and passenger and staff facilities. The building was pre fabricated and shipped from Germany with components being supplied from the UK and South Africa. The building was constructed and handed over in six weeks on site, complete with all services.

Gebler Tooth have provided capacity planning, architecture, roads and civil engineering design services throughout the project.
