Gebler Tooth undertook the complete remodelling of a four-bedroom Arts and Crafts-style property in Roehampton, London. The final design transformed the original two storey, 3,000 sq. feet 1930s property into a contemporary seven-bedroom, three storey, 6,700 sq. feet family home.

The construction of the property used many of the design features of the traditional properties adjacent, such as active facades, pitched roofs and dormer type elements.

Key achievement – By using clever internal geometry and half level stepping stories arranged around a central stair the doubling of area is presented to the street and neighbours within the same massing as previously.
