Architecture & Interiors
Having been a working farm for many years there were a variety of buildings on the land, including the original 15th C ‘Hall House’ now divided into two cottages and a charming 19th C stable block, as well as more modern farm buildings. The older buildings were intricately restored and refitted with new services etc. All original fabric particularly timber framing was carefully restored with reclaimed timber used to piece in where necessary. The finished buildings provide a range of residential lettings, modern day stables and staff accommodation.
Key achievement – making elegant and practical homes out of very dilapidated original fabric while retaining and restoring every historic element.
