Climate Controlled Cargo Facility

Opened in 2023, New Premia is a state-of-the-art, 95,000 sq ft constant-climate cargo handling facility at Heathrow. Purpose-built to support high-priority products, including pharmaceuticals, the facility has enhanced speed, reliability and capacity, setting a new benchmark for premium cargo services across the network.

The building incorporates a fully automated cargo-handling system, climate-controlled cold rooms and storage areas, and sophisticated break-and-build operations.

GTA provided Lead Design, Architecture and Traffic Planning services for the design and construction of the facility.
