Gebler Tooth were commissioned by Heathrow Express to develop the masterplan for in town check in for airline passengers, at Paddington Station. We designed the full installation of 26 check in desks, baggage handling system below the station concourse, and containerised baggage management on the rolling stock to Heathrow. The Paddington development involved integration with the Grade 1 listed Station refurbishment masterplan, English Heritage, Railtrack, the rail operator, 26 airlines as well as normal Statutory Authorities. In addition, we were involved with all Heathrow Express works for the service, including station enhancements at Heathrow, maintenance depot at Old Oak Common, and interchange station at Hayes and Harlington.
