Tropical Zoo is a community based interactive and educational visitor attraction near Heathrow. Their dedicated team of staff and volunteers conduct animal encounters for visitors and outreach into schools. Some of their rescue tropical animals are confiscated by HM Customs at Heathrow from the illegal trade in exotic species. GTA helped find investors for Tropical Zoo and win local authority support and planning consent for a 20,000sq ft new biome on green belt land near Heathrow.
