Peter Fennell, Director RIBA

Peter has been with Gebler Tooth for over fifteen years, and is a major creative force within the practice. Peter has led a number of the practice’s most high profile designs from the striking wing-form stations of the Heathrow Pod showcased in the government’s ‘Innovation is Great’ campaign to the elliptical amphitheatre-inspired ‘Team GB House’ home base of the British athletes for the 2012 games.

He has won unusual planning consents for and delivered rare classic modernism in the Chelsea Conservation Area, subverted airport ‘standard design details’ into an art form incorporating hand-crafted glass iconographic fretwork, designed a 40’ carbon fibre racing trimaran and entered the 2014 Wolfson Prize.

Peter enjoys working with and leading multi-disciplinary teams. He equally loves developing refined structures with engineers, practical construction details with builders and elegant light and finish with interior designers. His collaboration with Soho House’s In-house Design on Shoreditch House was nominated by Hackney Council for the 2015 LABC Building Excellence Awards.
